MAXT Makerspace started 5 years ago with a vision to support and inspire makers in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire.

By creating a large sharable space with tools of all kinds, craftsmen, builders, artist, creators and inventors bring their ideas to life. But MAXT has become so much more than a space with tools. Today, MAXT serves the community by providing workshops, classes, and imaginative experiences to the community.

MAXT has also become a powerful community partner. With the support of this auction we can expand our services to the community: construction of a gallery featuring local artists and creators, launch of a tool library that will extend resources to those who need them for their home projects, and the creation a new home for youth programming within the Makerspace.

MAXT Makerspace is a non-profit community workspace in Peterborough, NH - a gathering point for people to share resources and knowledge, work on projects, network and build businesses. MAXT supports the artists, makers and entrepreneurs of the Monadnock region of southwestern New Hampshire through shared tools, resources and educational opportunities.

We occupy 10,000 square feet of offices, studio spaces and dedicated workshops for woodworking, metal working, jewelry, textiles, printmaking, laser cutting, 3D printing and more. MAXT offers year-round classes and programs for all ages. Our Sharing Arts Ceramic Center in Dublin, NH, the annual Night Market festival, the Gallery space at MAXT and pop-up stores throughout the year provide a host of places for regional artists, inventors and creators to make, show and sell their work.
