The Michigan Architectural Foundation’s (MAF) Auction for Education raises funds to provide grants for K-12 students access to the best architectural resources available and Michigan non-profit organizations seeking to raise awareness of the architectural significance of buildings within their community.

The MAF thanks you for your support and hopes you enjoy our auction by purchasing these generously donated, unique offerings selected specifically for those who work and enjoy the design and construction industries.

There are three phases to this auction. The first GOLF AUCTION started May 20th at the MAF Golf Event, the second is the ONLINE AUCTION starting July 20th and the third is the LIVE AUCTION held at the Grand Hotel Midsummer Conference August 1 and 2.

AUCTION RULES AND FEATURES
The ONLINE AUCTION starts at noon July 20 and ends at noon July 30.
1. Items noted LIVE EVENT ONLY are only available for bidding at the AIAMichigan/AGCMichigan Mid-summer Conference on Mackinac Island. This will be a table-top silent auction using paper bid sheets. If you are not attending the conference you may provide a PROXY BID to someone at the conference who can bid on your behalf.
2. Some items within the ONLINE AUCTION are noted with a “Buy Now” price that is a real deal.
3. Some items have their value noted as “Priceless”. The bidders will determine the value. It will be exciting to see how these items bid, and all for a worthy cause.
4. ONLINE AUCTION items bid below 85% value will advance to the LIVE AUCTION available to conference participants. Any item that DOES NOT receive a higher LIVE AUCTION bid than the ONLINE AUCTION will be awarded to the ONLINE AUCTION bidder.
5. The LIVE AUCTION tabletop bidding is held on the Grand Porch of the Grand Hotel, August 1 & 2, closing Friday August 2 at 7:00 PM.
6. Winners at the LIVE AUCTION will be posted Saturday morning and can pick up and pay Saturday August 3 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Conference table on the Grand Hotel Shops hallway from Bob Daverman. Items purchased ONLINE will be shipped to winners the week of August 5. (ONLINE AUCTION has a shipping cost noted separately for some items).
