About Our Auction

Lake Trail Community School is going through a big transition with our new building opening this September. Some of you may have seen the amazing art gracing the walls of the 'old school' hallways.... punchy and contrasted celebrity portraits, graffiti-style lettering, and other funky pieces. Lake Trail Community Education Society (LTCES) has been offered the opportunity to auction this incredible art in support of after-school and youth programs.

The ‘Student Art Auction for LTCES’ opens on June 11th and runs until June 20th at 7pm on Take home a piece of Lake Trail history. Your walls will thank you!

Students who created the artwork were given the first option to take their art home. Many chose to donate their artwork to this fundraiser. We appreciate it.

Winning auction items can be picked up in the Lake Trail Community School, 805 Willemar Avenue, on the following dates and times:

Saturday, June 26: 11:30 to 2pm
Monday, June 28: 5pm to 8pm

Delivery is available within Courtenay, Comox, or Cumberland for donation (minimum of $10) to LTCES.

Don't live here but REALLY want that painting of Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys? We can ship it to you, but you will need to cover the cost of packaging and post.

Item winners will be sent a link to sign up for local delivery, or shipping after the auction ends.

** Please note that these pieces have hung on the walls of a junior high school for a few years now and may have the dents and dings of busy hallways... which adds to their personality!
