Swing Fore the Girls - Golf

This year has been a challenge on so many fronts and it is still not business as usual. The Coronavirus pandemic prevented us from holding this year's annual fundraising events - the Par 3 Challenge and Swing Fore the Girls Scramble Tournament. Before these cancellations, we had collected generous donations from our local golf courses to be included in our event raffles. While we could not hold the event "live", we want to still be able to raise funds in support of the youth programs offered by The First Tee of Greater Sacramento and LPGA/USGA Girls Golf. We are blessed in that golf is one of the permitted "recreational" activities we can still do.

We have some wonderful golfing opportunities available in this online auction. Please take a look, place your bids and revisit the auction frequently before it closes on September 20th to make sure that you have the winning bid on your favorite item(s).

Let's not let this pandemic stop us in supporting our community youth!

Thank you in advance for your support of the LPGA Amateurs Sacramento Chapter.

About LPGA Amateurs Sacramento

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association exists to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun. Since its inception in 1991, the LPGA Amateur Golf Association has served as a portal to golf and touched the lives of thousands of women. LPGA Amateur Golf Association has Chapters throughout the United States, along with international Chapters in Canada, South Africa, Bermuda, Ireland and Italy.

Within our vision, we also promote golf to our community youth by creating fundraising opportunities benefiting The First Tee of Greater Sacramento and the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf. With over 35 years of history, The First Tee of Greater Sacramento's youth development organization has positively impacted the lives of countless young people in the Sacramento area. The most significant impact with youth in their programs is the learning and living of The First Tee Nine Core Values (Honesty, Respect, Courtesy, Judgment, Perseverance, Confidence, Sportsmanship, Responsibility, and Integrity) and The First Tee Nine Healthy Habits of (Energy, Play, Safety, Vision, Mind, Family, Friends, School, and Community). The LPGA USGA Girls golf is the only national junior golf program that specializes in providing girl-friendly environments for juniors to learn the game of golf.

The LPGA Amateur Golf Association is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization. Learn more by visiting the LPGA Amateur Golf Association Headquarters website at http://lpgaamateurs.com or our chapter at http://lpgaamateurssacramento.com.
