LEAP's 5th Annual Online Auction

This is our 5th annual fundraising online auction. This year the funds raised will help us with advertising, printing, insurance, website, tablings, banner etc costs. All these things unfortunately cost money and we need to keep Lucy in the forefront of people’s thoughts and educate those who can make a difference in getting her to a proper sanctuary!

Lucy is the lone Asian elephant that has been living at the Edmonton Valley Zoo for the past 42 years. Lucy's Edmonton Advocates' Project (LEAP) mandate is increasing the activity and involvement of Lucy's supporters who live in the greater Edmonton area and her supporters around the world!

This is our 5th annual fundraising online auction.

LEAP is embarking on a campaign to educate the citizens of Edmonton as to why this elephant must be moved to a more suitable climate in the company of other Asian elephants. Our main message is that Lucy needs to be assessed by an independent team of experts to ensure her current health problems are optimized and to determine if she can be safely moved to a more suitable facility.
