Kohimarama School Auction

Welcome to Kohimarama School's online auction! This is our school's major fundraising event and is the first auction the PTA has held in 4 years.

This auction was intended to coincide with Kohimarama School's Centennial Celebrations, but unfortunately Covid cancelled those plans.

This year we are fundraising to cover a large concrete area with Astro grass, with sails above to provide shade. This will allow the children to eat and play in this area protected from the sun. We are also working towards gates at the front and side of the school to keep the children safe from wandering onto the surrounding streets.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is run by parents and an integral part of our school.

The PTA works with the school through:
- Fundraising for much needed purchase of IT equipment, classroom furniture, library books, playground equipment, and other important items.
- Providing a link between parents and school management.
- Encouraging a sense of school community through the organisation of many community events each year.
- Supporting the school through co-ordinating activities that free teachers up to focus on teaching, such as Road Patrols, Walking Buses and laundry.
