"Kindness Matters" Mother's Day Fundraiser

The Live Like Maya Foundation and Shine Like Sable Foundation are hosting a "Kindness Matters" Mother's Day event on Saturday, May 8 at the Manor House to benefit Cincinnati Children's Hospital in memory of Maya Collins and Sable Gibson. If you can't join us in-person, we would love you to participate in our online auction items.

The Live Like Maya Foundation:
The Live Like Maya Foundation was founded in honor and memory of Maya Collins who passed away at the age of 14 after battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia for over six years. The LLMF is committed to funding pediatric cancer research, providing financial assistance to families of children battling cancer and continuing Maya's legacy of fostering kindness and goodwill within the community. Some of the organizations that we support include the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Learn more at www.livelikemaya.org.

Shine Like Sable Foundation:
Sable Paige Gibson passed away on February 20, 2019 after suffering cardiac arrest resulting from strep throat and influenza. Do what makes your heart shine. These six simple words are a testament to the life Sable Gibson led while on this earth. In 10 short years, Sable did things that made her heart shine brighter than most people can do in their lifetime. Our purpose as a foundation is to spread Sable's light and give kindness to anyone who may need it. We have been collecting donations to assist kids in need, and helping to fund Child Life Specialist at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Learn more at www.shinelikesable.org.

Enjoy games, dancing and activities for the entire family, presenter Sheree Paolello (WLWT channel 5), and speakers: Dr. Maureen O'Brien, MD, MS, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Director, Leukemia/Lymphoma Program & Heather Storey, MS, CCLS, Certified Child Life Specialist.

Doors open at 10:30 AM, program begins at 11:30. Cash bar. Bloody Marys and mimosas available.

Silent auction, raffle tickets and other goodies will be available for purchase.
