About KD Edwards

 About K.D. Edwards
K.D. Edwards is the author of The Tarot Sequence, an urban fantasy series set in a reimagined New Atlantis where magic, found family, and political intrigue collide. The series follows Rune Saint John—the last scion of a murdered Court—and his loyal companion, Brand, as they uncover secrets, battle ancient powers, and rebuild a fallen House.

Since the release of The Last Sun (2018), KD’s work has earned attention for its cinematic worldbuilding, emotional depth, and rich LGBTQ+ representation. The first three books in the series (The Last Sun, The Hanged Man, and The Hourglass Throne) have been translated into multiple languages, and further adventures in the Tarot Sequence universe continue in the spin-off The Eidolon (2023) and the upcoming Early Adventures of Rune & Brand. The next TTS book, The Misfit Caravan, is scheduled for 2026.

Beyond the page, KD is known for his warmth, wit, and community spirit—always ready to celebrate creativity, kindness, and the stories that bring readers together.
