The Kentucky Horse Council is a 501c3 organization dedicated to the protection of Kentucky horses and the development of the equine community in the Commonwealth through education and leadership. 
The Kentucky Horse Council was created to celebrate and safeguard
the unique equine heritage of the Commonwealth. We seek to protect
and support all horses in the state, whether they are racehorses,
show horses, breeding horses, kid’s horses, retired horses or anything in
between—each of these horses serves to make Kentucky the Horse
Capital of the World and deserve our efforts to protect their welfare.
