The Kansas Alliance for Wetlands and Streams (KAWS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1996. We are working to connect the waters, lands and people of Kansas. We believe in an inclusive, non-partisan and science-based approach to support sustainability of the natural ecosystems and working lands of Kansas.

Together, we are building a successful conservation and community network.

We provide technical assistance, education and coordinating efforts for agencies, organizations, and landowners working to create, protect and restore wetlands and riparian areas in Kansas.
