About Our Auction

Every year we have our Annual Juneteenth event to celebrate the Black experience and our growth from year to year. We utilize the 7 principals of Kwanzaa to educate, entertain and empower our community utilizing Black Parent Professionals.

This year, as you would expect our community has been hit hard with the fall out from COVID-19. Most have loss work and even more have loss love ones. In an effort to support our Black Parent Professionals community we have decided to create a silent auction with products from us to you, during another very engaged Black holiday season, Kwanzaa.

Part of the proceeds will go granted to Small business owners who are in need and the other half will go to up and coming youth entrepreneurs. We have learned that we need to invest in our youth in order to make a better future for us all.

About Umoja Events

We host and flush out visions and execute the plan! We have been in business since 2009. We are a family run business and pride ourselves on great customer service and a fun loving spirit. All of the events we do to bring people together hence why we named our business Umoja which is UNITY in Swahili. We are a female owned and operated company.

Our Signature event, Juneteenth NY we have organized for the last 12 years. Our platform is to Educate, Empower and Entertain our community using Black Parent Entrepreneurs as the subject professionals.
