About Our Auction

We are excited to announce our upcoming Charity Art Auction in aid of Julia's House Children's Hospice. The auction will take place online. Julia's House provides invaluable day to day care, support & end of life care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Through the EDGE, we currently have pupils who volunteer each week in their charity shop in Warminster & we are committed to raising funds to ensure Julia’s House can continue their remarkable work. Julia’s House costs £3.34 million to run each year. They currently only receive 4% funding in Wiltshire from the government.

About Warminster School

We are a school steeped in history with a strong sense of tradition, but one that is not afraid to innovate and take risks. We transmit this to our pupils who are encouraged to try new things, push out of their comfort zones and embrace failures as the best way to achieve success. This is all achieved by living and breathing (not just laminating!) our mission statement. This helps to create a supportive and nurturing environment, where the sense of community is tangible and authentic. It was that feeling of community which first drew me to Warminster School and I know that you will experience the same connection when you come to visit us.

Strong individual academic achievement is the central pillar of a Warminster education and this will always be the case. However, we firmly believe that what happens outside the classroom is just as important as what happens inside it. We seek to challenge and inspire our pupils through an extensive extra-curricular programme including a thriving sport programme, CCF and outdoor pursuits, as well as an impressive arts offer.

Personal and proactive pastoral care is at the heart of what we do at Warminster and our dedicated and talented staff know the pupils as individuals and nurture and mentor them accordingly. We put great importance in the key values of integrity, service, compassion and kindness and we take pride in developing young people with self-confidence and high self-esteem.

In truth there is no ‘typical’ Warminster pupil and nor should there be. As a community we are happy if our pupils get stuck in, give things a go and always push themselves to achieve their potential. In doing this we find they develop a sense of direction, happy memories and long-lasting friendships.
