KIP Canada is hosting its annual It Takes A Village charity auction from December 1, 2025 to December 8, 2025. Funds raised will go towards purchasing gifts and brightening the holiday season for children affected by parental incarceration.
About Kids with Incarcerated Parents (KIP) Canada
Since 2012, KIP Canada is one of the only organizations in Canada that provides programs and supports for children, youth, and families affected by a parent's involvement in the justice system.
We are dedicated to providing holistic programming and supportive services that use trauma-informed, strengths-based, anti-oppressive approaches, are guided by the voices of KIP, and are aimed to foster resilience.
By tailoring support to the strengths and needs of our children and teaching healthy coping strategies, KIP Canada hopes to empower innocent children to rise above adversity and embrace a brighter future. Furthermore, KIP Canada is committed to advocating for our children and their rights.
Together with the family and our community partners, KIP Canada offers vulnerable children vital support from parental arrest to reintegration.
Our goal is to optimize their psychological, emotional, social, physical, and cultural well-being and reduce the cycle of intergenerational crime.
