About the Causes:

SEARCH pursues a mission of providing hope, creating opportunity, and transforming lives of men, women, and children who are trying to break free from the cycle of poverty and homelessness. They bring this mission to life every day by helping their clients obtain permanent housing, increase their income, improve their health, develop their children, and ultimately achieve independence. Through SEARCH’s services, they have helped reduce homelessness in Houston by 57% and assists over 4,000 people in need annually.

For decades, the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) has set the standard for best practices in real estate management as well as offering premier industry education and professional development. Annually, the award winning IREM Houston Chapter awards financial scholarships totaling $15,000. To assist with workforce development and members' career growth, IREM Houston hosts nearly 20 courses, seminars, luncheons and property tours each year.

The local Houston Chapter of IREM was founded in 1955, and for decades has set the standard for best practices in real estate management. Through various initiatives, from networking events to highly regarded industry credentials, our association provides service to our members at every level.
