About Our Auction

BID FOR A CAUSE is taking place is response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally coinciding with Bingo Bonanza, this silent auction has gone online! Thank you to the Women's Alliance of SLO County for putting on this event and supporting Hospice SLO County all these years!

If you have the winning bid on a gift certificate, please email us your mailing address and we can put it in the mail!

All other items will need to be picked up. We will email you on Tuesday to make arrangements.

ALL DONORS OF AUCTION ITEMS HAVE BEEN CONTACTED AND ALL HAVE GENEROUSLY AGREED TO KEEP THEIR DONATION(S) IN OUR AUCTION!

ALL GIFT CARDS/CERTIFICATES ARE VIABLE WITH FLEXIBLE EXPIRATION DATES.

Any amount paid over the Value Price is considered a donation and is tax deductible.

Shop at your leisure and support Hospice SLO County!

You must be over 21 to bid on alcoholic beverages.

Your winning bid will help Hospice SLO County get through this difficult time when fundraisers have been cancelled resulting in decreased budgeted donations and will help enable critically ill people and those grieving to have the support they need.

If you don't end up with a winning bid, but still want to support Hospice SLO County, you can make a donation by clicking the green DONATE button at the top of the page.

Thank you to all the community donors who gave their goods and services to this auction. We are so grateful for your support!

About Hospice SLO County

Hospice of San Luis Obispo County (Hospice SLO County) is an incorporated 501(c)3 volunteer hospice serving San Luis Obispo County residents who are facing a life-limiting illness, end of life or grief. We depend 100% on community donations, fundraising events, grants, bequests and planned gifts, and the time and talent of over 200 volunteers to serve thousands of individuals annually.

OUR VISION

We envision a community that recognizes death as a part of life; where dying and grieving are embraced as natural; where all have access to support services without charge; where no one dies or is left to grieve without comfort.

OUR MISSION

We recognize death as a natural and personal event. In this spirit, we support the community in working with those near the end of life and the people who love them by providing in-home support, caregiver respite, grief counseling, support groups, community response and education. All services are offered free of charge.
