HomeBridge Auction 2017

HomeBridge Youth Society is a non-profit, Canadian registered charity (#106728918RR0001) delivering high quality service to vulnerable youth across the province of Nova Scotia. Formed in 1977, HomeBridge operates six residential care facilities, a therapeutic arts program and a 12-seat accredited school program in the Halifax Regional Municipality, serving youth between the ages of 12 and 18, in the care of the Department of Community Services. HomeBridge is the largest residential youth care organization east of Montreal, serving approximately 120 youth at-risk on a yearly basis. It is our vision that all youth and their families are living in Health, Safety and Harmony. (www.homebridgeyouth.ca)

The youth and families we serve, unfortunately, have had many traumatic experiences in their lives and relationships. They need our assistance to support and guide them to healthier choices with a greater understanding of how to be with themselves and others to assure that sense of belonging and connectedness we all desire. For 40 years, HomeBridge has been working to support the changes needed to bring N.S. families back together. We create many therapeutic, educational and recreational experiences that invite the young people to push their limits and experience themselves differently in relationships to better understand how to effectively support their desire to be connected and belong within healthy relationships.

Monies raised from this on-line auction will be used for life skills programming, educational supplies, and recreational and cultural experiences for the youth in our care.
