About Our Auction

Thank you for participating in our first online auction to benefit the Harrison House Music, Arts & Ecology programs in Joshua Tree.

The HARRISON HEROES auction includes a unique collection of Lou Harrison's cherished decorative items and small acquired instruments, inherited by our Director, Eva Soltes from the Lou Harrison Estate (winning bidders will receive a certificate of authentication), as well as unique experiences and artistic offerings. We would also like to thank all the donors who have contributed additional items for auction.

We believe Lou would find joy in knowing that his collection was helping us continue our artist residency and community programs at Harrison House.

We welcome DONATIONS in any amount to our program:

About Harrison House Music, Arts & Ecology

Established in 2006, Harrison House Music, Arts & Ecology is a residency and performance program for international artists and a center for the practice and teaching of drylands permaculture. Based in the late composer Lou Harrison’s straw bale retreat, the program has given the gift of time to nearly 400 artists-in-residence from around the world.

Bordering Joshua Tree National Park, the majestic sanctuary completed in 2002, continues Lou Harrison's legacy of inspiring new generations of artists and audiences.
