About Our Auction

Hands Across De Pere is a joint initiative between the West De Pere School District and the Unified School District of De Pere. This initiative allows the school social workers from both districts access to funds to strategically improve the lives of our students. Donated funds are used to meet basic needs including food, clothing, winter gear, gas cards, hygiene products, school fees, and extracurricular fees. With these funds we are able to offer assistance with larger items that allow families to get ahead in life, such as help with the down payment on an apartment, a medical bill, car repairs, the cost of a short stay at a motel while searching for housing, or repairing broken appliances. These funds also continue to sustain our Hope Squads, a suicide prevention and mental health awareness program that has been implemented in both districts.
