About Our Auction

This auction is to help raise funds for Cocoa Bear & Destiny Rose, and to help fund the purchase of new quilted rain blankets for the new horses for this winter. Cocoa Bear is needing surgery to fix his damaged foot. He came into the sanctuary with a recurring wound from embedded barbwire wrapped around his rear pastern, and this wound is now requiring surgery.

Rosie is our new intake, a 25 year old mare from an extreme neglect case right off the Fallon Feedlot in NV. She has traveled over 1200 miles to be able to live out the remaining years of her life in safety and comfort after her rehab is completed. With that being said, Rosie really needs her teeth floated, and this auction will also help to raise funds for that.

Your support is truly appreciated!

About Heart of the Wild Sanctuary

Heart of the Wild Sanctuary's focus efforts are for the less adoptable equines. The aged, permanently debilitated, or otherwise. A soft landing place for the broken. We personally have a soft place in my heart our hearts for America's wild horses, the American Mustang, and currently provide haven for 7 of these amazingly resilient creatures. We currently provide sanctuary for 19 equines total, from former abuse/neglect situations, old age rescues, and sanctuary animals. We are home to the ones who cannot be adopted or rehomed after rehabilitation.

Heart of the Wild Sanctuary is a resting place for the ones who need it most, the old ones, horses & dogs, and the ones no longer able to stand the noise of life, they come here to be quiet, respected, and find peace from the abuse that they have felt.

These horses, more often than not, require some form of consistent medical care either due to former abuse as in the ongoing wound issue with Cocoa's leg, or old age issues with a few of the others.

We personally have a soft place in our hearts for America's wild horses, the American Mustang, and currently provide haven for 7 of these amazingly resilient creatures.

I am a self-employed artisan doing what I can thru my own artistry to help fund this small 21 acre sanctuary here in West Tennessee. I offer my own works to you as a means by which to help provide care. Donations are always welcome.
