The 20th Annual HOPEsudbury Telethon & Auction will air on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 3PM to 9:00PM. This fun community event showcases local talent (singing, dancing, musicians, pet tricks, and more) and fun hosts highlighting auction items throughout the day.

After the tragic events of September 11, 2001, people in Sudbury were moved to take action to help others in need. The idea caught on. HOPEsudbury was born—a diverse group of residents, town employees and business people—young and young at heart—working as a community to help those in need of support, encouragement and financial assistance.

Our signature program, The HOPE Fund, is a valuable source of short-term financial assistance for local individuals and families with emergency or unexpected financial need. The Fund has distributed over $800,000 since it was established in 2002. In 2020, 51 grants were provided to Sudbury families who had fallen on hard times and turned to The HOPE Fund for support, receiving close to $60,000 in assistance.

The “giving” piece of HOPEsudbury is only one part of what we do. First and foremost, our mission is to create opportunities for Sudbury citizens to work together for the common good. Through our popular Telethon & Auction and our various community drives and events, HOPEsudbury encourages residents from all walks of life to share their time, talents and treasures to support others in need.
