About Our Auction

Edited Wednesday 11/06/2019 auction close:

THANK YOU for making our online auction extraordinary!

A heartfelt thank you to all of our donors and participants of our auction. With your generosity, we raised more than $8000 towards the cost of therapy for Jacob. Here’s to getting Jacob to his next inchstone or milestone!

In the next day or so, please watch out for an email from HFFSJacob@gmail.com with instructions about payment and next steps. We’d like the invoices to be paid by Tuesday, Nov 12th.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Edited Tuesday 11/05/19:

We wanted to take this time to express our gratitude. We cannot believe over $7000 has been raised already! That is so amazing!

We have lowered the starting bid on items that have no bids yet and have “featured” them on the front page (so they can be easily found). **total wine reduced even further at 9pm**

Invoices will be generated towards (or after) the end of the auction.

Thank you!!

Welcome to our online auction to raise funds for Jacob to attend intensive therapy at the NAPA Center!

High Fives for Stacey Inc. is helping raise funds on behalf of our family so that Jacob can attend 3-weeks of intensive therapy at the NAPA (Neurological and Physical Abilitation) Center in LA.

Jacob is a 4 year-old medically complex/special needs boy with a very rare genetic disorder called 3p25.3 terminal deletion, which leads to a cascade of diagnoses. It is responsible for significant motor and cognitive delays. Despite being 4 years old, he has not developed beyond that of a 6-month-old. To read more about Jacob, please visit https://drive.google.com/open?id=1epWhz9qWMcOVWzoZJiY2NPNaj01iB0D1.

Why the NAPA Center?: “many gain more progress towards their goals in the three weeks than they do in a whole 12 months of ongoing traditional therapy! They often advance to the next developmental skill or higher!”

The intensive therapy will include incorporating CME and neurosuit methods. At NAPA center, the therapists use the Intensive Model of Therapy (IMOT) to treat children with neurological disorders. Each patient has a customized program created just for them that varies in time, duration, intensity, and tools used. Upon reviewing Jacob’s history, they recommend that he do 4.5 hours of therapy (including 0.5 hours on a Trexo Robotics gait trainer) a day for a total of three weeks. This is exactly what he needs to help him achieve his next milestone or inchstone, as he is unable to sit, crawl, or walk. We are also excited that he will be using a Trexo Robotics gait-trainer, so he can experience what it feels like to walk! For more information about the NAPA Center, please visit https://www.napacenter.org/ or their Facebook @NAPACenter.

Please consider shopping from our auction for you and your loved ones. We have so many wonderful items that have been donated, you just might find the gifts you are looking for. Remember, every penny of your contribution will go directly towards therapies.
