Nuçi’s Space is a nonprofit organization located in Athens, GA, with the mission to prevent suicide. With a focus on musicians, Nuçi’s Space advocates for and helps to alleviate the suffering for those living with a brain illness and fights to end the stigma of mental illness.
To accomplish our mission, Nuçi’s Space maintains a health and resource center for musicians as a safe space to seek support and guidance, provides access to affordable professional care, actively participates in treatment and educates about awareness and prevention of brain illnesses.
In conjunction with the Drive-By Truckers fan community we are offering a variety of music memorabilia to raise funds for our mission!

In 1999, the Nuçi Phillips Memorial Foundation was formed in memory of Nuçi Phillips, who took his own life after a long battle with clinical depression. Nuçi was a talented musician and a promising student at UGA. Having lived the course of Nuçi’s illness with him, his family recognized the need for obstacle-free ways of treating and supporting those who suffer from depression and other brain illnesses. In 2000, Nuçi’s Space opened its doors to Athens and the music community.
