Welcome Spring 2026

As a registered charity, we receive no government funding and rely on generous donations and our auctions to bridge the financial gap between adoption fees and medical bills. In 2025, our veterinary expenses reached $300,000, and with kitten season already underway, your support is more crucial than ever. With only 120 adoptions so far this year, totaling $35,400 in fees, the funds raised through our Welcome Spring 2026 Auction will help us close this financial gap and establish a reserve for upcoming medical bills. Join us as the auction opens on March 22, 2026 at 8:00 am, and concludes on March 30, 2026, at 8:00 pm.

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a GTHA based cat rescue. We are a registered Canadian Charity that is 100% volunteer-driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.
