2021 Pyjama Foundation Fundraiser!

Glen Park Community Centre are putting up some amazing pieces of artworks by our resident artists to raise funds for The Pyjama Foundation's "Love of Learning Program".

If you aren’t familiar with the cause, The Love of Learning Program seeks to train and support volunteers called Pyjama Angels to tutor, mentor and support foster children within their homes. Pyjama Angels are a very special sort of person that can be with a foster child for many, many years and become so much more than a mentor, they become a part of the child’s family and support system. Sometimes these children don’t have many positive constants in their life so it’s a big role to fill.

Our Purpose: Glen Park Community Centre Inc. is established to be a charity whose purpose is to be a Public Benevolent Institution, providing material aid, relief and access to lifelong learning for local people and families who are experiencing poverty, extreme hardship and distress, and advancing the social and public welfare of the same community
