About Our Auction
The decision was made to cancel our annual fundraising fair due to COVID-19 restrictions. The fair raised $38,000 last year and this money helped pay for teacher aide support in classrooms, literacy resources, kapa haka tuition and other things not covered by the funding we receive from the Ministry of Education. Despite not having the fair, we are continuing with the 'Monster Auction' in an online format. Money raised at this auction will go towards continued teacher aide support and resources at our school.
About Gladstone School (Masterton)
Gladstone School was first established in 1876. It is a full rural primary for students from Year 1 to Year 8. Gladstone School provides a safe learning environment where students participate in a range of quality learning experiences. We are very proud of our environment and the resources that we have to offer.
Our school currently draws students from the surrounding rural areas of Gladstone including: Longbush, Te Whiti, Te Wharau, Ponatahi, Ahiaruhe, Maungaraki and a smaller number of out of zone students from Masterton and Carterton, (both situated 15 kilometres away). Our school receives very strong community support.
