Giving Voice Austin 2018 Poster Auction

Bid on 8 unique Giving Voice "Mentoring Through Social Cause" posters designed by our program mentor/mentee partners. All proceeds benefit Giving Voice.

In October 2018, Giving Voice hosted eight mentor/mentee matches between professional AIGA graphic artists and VSA Texas young adults with disabilities. The social cause posters were designed in four Saturday working sessions. Each mentee receives a professionally printed copy of the poster and one framed copy is available for auction. All proceeds go back into the program for 2019 when we host another group of young graphic designers and their mentors.

After the online auction, biddings will continue in person at the Giving Voice Poster Show exhibition at Imagine Art from 2-4pm. Winners will be announced after 4pm on December 9th. If you cannot attend the event and would like to continue bidding, text 512-632-0515 to stay informed of the bids.

Art Spark Texas challenges perceptions of how people contribute by creating an arts-inspired, inclusive community of individuals with diverse abilities. Our goal is to provide support and training to the public, enhance personal growth, and offer Texans access to the creative work of people with diverse abilities.

Giving Voice Austin is our mentoring program in partnership with AIGA. It empowers young adults with disabilities ages 16-22 to give voice to social cause that is important to them. Working together with a professional graphic designer, youth have the opportunity to express something that is significant to them, and, more importantly, have someone to listen. At the same time learning valuable graphic design skills from a professional one-on-one.
