About Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT

Girl Guides NSW officially turns 100 this year. While the world has changed over the course of a century, the need to support young girls in helping them realise their potential has not. Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT are empowering the women of the future; for they will not only impact their families, communities, and country—they will change the world.

With a century of experience in supporting young girls become the women of tomorrow, Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT are continuing their commitment to shaping the leaders of tomorrow by ensuring the best support, tools and resources are provided for girls and women. The Association’s past provides foundations that have shaped the present and in turn will shape the future, where Girl Guides will do what it has always done best, empower girls and young women and give them a place to grow.

Successful beneficiaries of the legacy of Girl Guides count changemakers throughout our communities, including NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, who has this to say of the lasting influence of Girl Guides: “My time as a…Girl Guide taught me so much about teamwork, about good values, and always putting others ahead of yourself. And I know they’re values that will maintain Girl Guides for many years to come”.

With pivotal foundations in place to provide impact to shifting cultural, social and economic climates within our communities, Girl Guides NSW, ACT & NT are now seeking further investment to cultivate the empowerment of future women in giving girls and young women a place to grow. To invest in future women and better communities donate now.
