About Our Auction

Welcome! Each December, GWIN hosts a fundraising event in support of the Guelph Women In Networking Community Fund. This year we’ve taken our event online with our “Spread The Cheer” virtual auction.

Sit at home in your PJs, or better-yet, get all dressed-up, and peruse the plethora of items donated on behalf of our GWIN Extended Community. There’s no limit on how many items you can bid-on, so be sure to check-back often to secure your items before time runs out!

Nothing catching your eye, but want to still help?

Click Donate (located in the top-right corner of our auction page) and send funds directly.
Donate today and help us Spread the Cheer to a local community charity.

Questions? Concerns? Want to Donate an Item?

No one in our community should have to choose between healthy food, a clean home, or necessary hygiene products.

Unfortunately, that is often the reality for families living in poverty.
The HOPE House Food Market is here to ensure that everyone in Guelph can provide their family with nutritious meals and household necessities.

The Food Market is a free, choice-based pantry open to both working and non-working individuals and families who need a helping hand. Community members are free to shop the market for food and other items while receiving guidance from our volunteers on how to make the most of their budget

Each family who visits the Food Market receives a certain number of “bucks” to spend on the items of their choice during their appointment (families with infants and young kids also receive separate bucks especially for baby products.) The “prices” are equivalent to the retail cost of groceries.

The Market is designed to empower community members to fill their cart and shop with dignity. Allowing the freedom of choice minimizes food waste and creates awareness of budgeting for healthy meals.
