Proceeds from Cookies & Cocktails will directly support our high-level programming focusing on mental health and well-being, camperships for youth in foster care, and making Girl Scouting accessible to all that want to participate. We want to ensure that everyone who wants to be a Girl Scout can be a Girl Scout. In today’s environment with increased inflation, we understand the impact this has on many families’ ability to take on additional expenses such as their children’s activities.

Since 1919, Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE) has welcomed all girl-identifying youth in grades K-12 and adult volunteers who accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law.  Our mission is to build Girl Scouts of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Girl Scouts is a leadership development program designed to help youth discover their personal best and prepare for a positive future, connect with others in an increasingly diverse world, and take action to solve problems and improve their communities. GSSNE serves all of Rhode Island and 13 cities and towns in nearby MA and CT. The inclusive membership model and approach prioritize participants in under-served communities, the youth of all racial/ethnic groups, and youth with special needs. 

This year, we will serve over 3,500 youth Girl Scouts in partnership with 2,400 adult volunteers. Girl Scouts explore their potential without competition from cisgender boys – an opportunity many educators consider essential for girls to achieve future aspirations. GSSNE offers a wide range of outdoor programs, troop activities, workshops, field trips, and STEAM activities. Community service is an integral part of Girl Scouting, including a Council-wide service project.
