GRASP's 8th Annual Online Auction Event

GRASP's Online Auction Event is our largest fundraiser of the year. We utilize all the profits raised to fund our programs which provide food, utility payment assistance, prescription assistance, and resource referrals to individuals and families in need in our community.

GRASP is a nonprofit in Great Falls, SC dedicated to providing crisis assistance in the form of food, utility payments, and prescriptions to people in need. Rebecca Lowry, a Great Falls school teacher, GRASP was started by a school teacher was deeply disturbed by the number of children coming to school hungry each day and wanted to do something to help. A steering committee was developed, which ultimately resulted in the development of our organization. GRASP has grown by leaps and bounds throughout the years. For roughly forty-two years, GRASP was running solely by volunteers out of their homes or local churches. It was not until November of 2015 that GRASP could purchase the building that now houses GRASP Crisis Relief Center through funds raised by a capital campaign.

GRASP has been in existence for 50 years, working to ensure our neighbors have their basic needs met. Our mission is to provide service, referrals, and assistance to the people in our community in a Christ-like way. Our goal is to make a significant and positive impact on our community by treating every person who comes to GRASP with dignity and respect.
