About Our Auction

This year has redefined how we work - as the local United Way for 5 rural counties, 2020 has called for creativity, flexibility and connection with our partners to ensure Vermonters are safe, healthy, can access education, and are financially secure. We continue to address the ongoing challenges of COVID-19 recovery using this creativity - whether it means stitching masks, building back-to-school backpacks, delivering meals, or helping volunteers to find organizations who need their expertise, energy or time, we are redefining what it means to LIVE UNITED. This Kickoff 2020 Auction will support all of that work and those in our communities who are most vulnerable to COVID-19 including the essential workers served by our Working Bridges program, clients across the state served by our KEEP Financial Coaches who are experiencing financial hardship, children entering foster care through our Tatum's Totes backpack program, and all vulnerable Vermonters who our volunteers and partners work tirelessly to help. These funds are critical - as a United Way we are primarly funded by individuals and continue to look to offer our community members the opportunity to be philanthropists locally, to their own neighbors. This is what it means to LIVE UNITED.

About Green Mountain United Way

We are the United Way serving Caledonia, Washington, Orleans, Orange, and Essex Counties in Vermont. We fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our region using programs, partnerships, and collaborations to ensure our community can thrive. Our programs directly support working families, children transitioning into foster care, employees at our nonprofit partners, and members of our broader community.
This year, more than ever, we are getting creative and finding new ways and resources to support our communities - whether it is sewing masks, delivering meals and backpacks to working Vermonters or children entering foster care, or connecting volunteers with organizations and efforts that need them, we are stretching our capacity in ways we have not before. This year, we are redefining what it means to LIVE UNITED. Join us!
