Give Grief a Voice Online Art Auction 2022

The Give Grief a Voice Project provides families who have lost a young child an artistic representation of their child’s life.

The process involves the collaboration of a professional writer and artist who create their child’s legacy through artistic expression. A writer interviews the family in order to ghostwrite the child’s story. Then, a commissioned artist turns the words of the story into a piece of art that the family keeps.

Buzzy’s Bees fundraises to cover all costs for the writing and art – there is no charge to the participating families.

The project’s primary purpose is to support families who have experienced the death of a young child, but the secondary goal is to help anyone who reads these stories learn how to better support the grieving people in their own lives. Ultimately, the stories will be published alongside the artwork in a book.

Money raised from this art auction will help fund the writing and art pieces for our 2023 Give Grief a Voice families. Each family's full participation costs approximately $2000. Thank you for helping make this project a success!
