What a difference a GREY makes!

Help us to bring more Greyhound love to the families of Central Texas. We continue to bring hounds in from across the globe and our own backyard. They each are provided the best medical care, along with our support before and after adoption.

It's not too soon to think about the holiday season. Several items  are unique homemade creations from our talented members.  Additionally, we are offering some vintage items from the collection of a dear friend.  These will make wonderful gifts, that won't be found elsewhere.

Pictured are best friends Spike (a retired racer from a Texas farm) and Key (a true rescue with the help of Austin Pets Alive).

We are an all-volunteer 501c3 organization, dedicated to finding homes for Greyhounds and Lurchers. We place all dogs into volunteer foster homes upon coming into our group. We do not operate a kennel. This helps us get to know the dog and their personality before they go to their forever home. We pride ourselves in helping you pick the perfect dog for your family. While the dogs are in their foster home, they are taken to the veterinarian to get spayed or neutered, have all their vaccinations, their teeth are cleaned, and they are tested for heartworms and intestinal parasites. During this time, they are also evaluated for injuries, behavioral or health problems.  They begin learning to be a pet!
