Furniture Share's 11th Annual Auction

The purpose of this auction is to help provide BEDS for KIDS and Veteran Welcome Home Kits to prior homeless veterans and their families. The substantial benefits of our BEDS for KIDS project are that children no longer have to sleep on the floor in our communities, which improves their sleep and performance in school and improves safety, health, comfort, warmth, and quality of life for children. Our Veteran Welcome Home Kits increases comfort and safety in homes, increases wellness, independence, physical and mental health by providing prior homeless Veterans and their families in need with the basic furniture and household items to improve their quality of life.

You might be thinking to yourself, what in the world is Furniture Share? What is furniture poverty? Sometimes we take the most basic needs for granted. It isn’t until we find ourselves without that we realize that many families don’t have the basic things to make a house a home.

The people we serve are members of your community. Many face unimaginable challenges. Some are leaving hostile situations. Many are recovering from illness and addiction. Most are struggling to get back on their feet after being homeless. Most of the people you help have children that they want to provide a home for. With basic needs such as a dining table, a dresser, and especially a bed. Your support helps parents for the first time, tuck their children into a real bed. Furniture Share not only helps families in need, but we also help Veterans who struggle with readjusting to civilian life. Many veterans experience homelessness and need help furnishing a home. Furniture Share can help.

How can you help? We need people just like you to help by bidding on these amazing auction items, making a one-time donation, or a recurring donation. With your help, one more child will feel safe, warm, and comfortable in their own bed. Where was the safest place for you as a child? Help us provide that for a family in need.

Furniture Share is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been in operation since 1998. Our mission is to provide locally grown and locally made healthy foods and redistribute quality used furniture to children, families, and individuals in need, thus diverting items from the landfill and supporting under-served members of our communities experiencing furniture poverty. Sustaining client services to target populations through the following projects: BEDS for KIDS, Wildfire Furniture Relief Program, Feeding Our Future​ , and​ Veteran Welcome Home Kits to ensure safety, health, comfort, and quality of life to those within Linn, Benton, and surrounding Counties.
