Fur Ball: Alice in Whiskerland

The furriest Costume Ball in town, presented by Los Robles Animal Hospital!

Join the Leon County Humane Society as we bring a whimsical wonderland to life at the beautiful Lake Iamonia Lodge on Saturday, September 29th! Dress up in your most whimsical finery. Feel the beat at the Red Queen's Dance Party and frolic in the garden with lawn games, a wine toss and a raffle. Take a break from the madness and relax in the Mad Hatter's drawing room while you peruse the offerings of our enticing silent auction.

(Please note: The Fabulous Fur Ball is appropriate for adults and teens 16 years and older.)

EAT ME
Enjoy an assortment of tasty treats and tapas by local eateries. Vegetarian options included, of course!

DRINK ME
Delight in one (or several) of the night's signature Whiskerland cocktails and a selection of wine and beer at the cash bar or upgrade to a VIP ticket for an open bar!

FINERY
Attire is whimsical cocktail and costumes are encouraged but not required. The night will be capped off by a thrilling Costume Contest judged by the attendees via applause. Winners will receive the adulation of the crowd and fun prizes!

VIP EXPERIENCE
Upgrade to a VIP ticket for open bar, VIP-only door prizes, and a special VIP reception featuring a wonderland of delicious treats. In addition, VIP attendees get early access to the silent auction at the event with Buy It Now options for Live Event exclusive items to get a jump on the competition.

All funds raised from the 2018 Fur Ball: Alice in Whiskerland will go toward the veterinary care and special needs of our animals, as well as the overall operation of our organization and ongoing programs.

The Leon County Humane Society is Tallahassee's largest no kill, non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to saving Tallahassee's homeless pets by educating our community about responsible pet ownership and reducing pet overpopulation through programs like Spay/Neuter, Pet Food Pantry, and Humane Education.

After a 6-year hiatus, the Fur Ball is back by popular demand! 2018’s Fur Ball will be packed with all the costumed fun that made this life saving fundraiser a beloved annual tradition. The whimsical wonderland will come to life on September 29, 2018 at the beautiful Lake Iamonia Lodge (379 Iamonia Farms Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32312).

EVENT TIMELINE
VIP ticket holders are invited to attend a special early reception starting at 5:30pm. The main event begins at 6:30pm and will wrap up at around 9:30pm, with the silent auction closing at 7:45pm and the costume contest at 8pm.

ONLINE BIDDING INFORMATION
Bidding for NON Online Only items will CONTINUE at the Fur Ball after the online phase of the silent auction closes on Wednesday, 9/26.

Those who wish to continue bidding on items MUST attend the Fur Ball. If you do not attend the Fur Ball and still have the winning bid at the end of the evening, you will receive automatic email notifications for any items for which you are the winning bidder with instructions for payment and picking up your items.
