Art and Love for Katie

This spring, Penland staff member Katie Chasteen passed away suddenly from heart failure. Katie was a key member of Penland's development team, a spreadsheet whiz, and a generous colleague and friend. She was also a lover of cats, an inquisitive and creative photographer, a wife to Zac, and a new mother to 8-month-old Mars. She will be so missed.

In this time of grief, Katie's friends and coworkers have set up this online auction to raise funds for her family. We invite you all support them by bidding generously! All money raised will go directly to Zac and Mars to help cover medical costs, daycare, etc.
