20th Annual Online Silent Auction

The Friends of Fredricksen holds an annual silent auction to help fund the library's needs and wants. More than 150 local businesses donate gifts and services which are auctioned off in November of each year. Funds from this auction and our two book sales are used to: fund children's, teens, and adult programming, community programs, library equipment such as a new projector, and support funding of the new lower level entrance and reading plaza, staff and volunteer appreciation, and prizes for the new patron campaign each year. Funds we raise are requested by department heads to supplement funds in the operating budget and keep our doors open. Items include a complete orthodontic package valued at $6,500 to $3 and $5 fast food coupons and everything in between like art, jewelry, services like dry cleaning, car washes, food store cards, restaurant cards, sporting events, fun entertainment & experiences, and gift certificates to the West Shore Farmers Market.

Friends of Cleve J. Fredricksen Library is a support group for the Library's Development Department sponsoring three fundraising events each year with all profits going to the library to support needs not funded by the operating budget. We are a non-profit 501C3 entity. We raise funds, volunteer at the library, and advocate for library funding at the local and state levels.
