About Our Auction

Because of COVID-19 we were not able to hold our major annual fundraiser, Death by Chocolate. In order for our club to continue doing the great work we do in the community, our country and around the world, we need your assistance.

The Fort Saskatchewan Rotary Club has been active in the community for over 25 years. Despite COVID-19 this past year we have been involved in the following projects:

 Two $1,000 scholarships for graduating high school students
 Support for world eradication of Polio through Rotary International
 Provided a buddy bench for the SouthPointe school playground
 Northern Mini Projects for comminutes in Nunavut that are in need.
 Assisted the Chamber of Commerce in Covid control at the farmer’s market
 Provided Covid grants to Fort Sask Food Bank, Fort Sask KidsSport, Boys & Girls Club and the Multi-Cultural Assoc.
 Provided PPE and food support for our sister club in Santa Rosa, Philippines
 Support for local youth and groups on a one on one basis

Auction items will can be picked up on Saturday June 5th 9am- 12pm in Fort Saskatchewan, or other arrangements can be made if necessary

About Fort Saskatchewan Rotary

The Fort Saskatchewan Rotary Club has been in existence since 1994, and has a proud history of fundraising and assisting worthwhile causes within the City of Fort Saskatchewan, Canada, and
around the world. We are one of 24 clubs in the capital region and over 60 clubs in District 5370 which
includes Alberta (north of the Red Deer area), northern Saskatchewan, north east British Columbia,
Yellowknife and the Yukon).

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and,
in particular, to encourage and foster:

- the development of acquaintances as an opportunity for service;
- high ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all worthy occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society;

- the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service
