About Our Auction
The Raptor Trust's FeatherFest auction supports our busiest time of the year; baby bird season. All proceeds from the auction will help support injured and orphaned wild birds, so that they may have a second chance at life in the wild.
About The Raptor Trust
The Raptor Trust mission is to:
• Provide free care and assistance to injured, sick, or orphaned wild birds.
• Educate people about wild birds, especially birds of prey.
• Set a humane example for others.
The Raptor Trust was established in 1983 by founders Len and Diane Soucy, who began caring for injured wild birds in their backyard. In a time when there were few legal protections for birds and almost no facilities to for injured and orphaned wildlife, Len and Diane were pioneers of wildlife rehabilitation.
Today, The Raptor Trust is one of the premier environmental education and wild bird rehabilitation centers in the United States. Located in Millington, New Jersey, the Trust includes a hospital with state-of-the-art medical facilities, quality exterior housing for several hundred birds, and an education building. A stalwart advocate for wild birds for over 40 years, it is now recognized as a national leader in the fields of raptor conservation and avian rehabilitation. Since 1983, we’ve released over 60,000 wild birds back into our community!
