Fall Festival and 5K Run/Walk

During the month of September, we always celebrate World Peace Day with a Fall Festival 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for Play for Peace. This is one of our largest fundraisers of the year, and the only Silent Auction we host each year. The funds will be used to help children and communities living in conflict, violence, and other distressed areas. The funds are used to service 60 Play for Peace clubs in more than 18 countries, and establish new clubs where there is need and funding is available.

Play for Peace is a global organization headquartered in Chicago with over hundreds Play for Peace volunteers in over 40 different countries. Our mission is to help children and communities living in conflict and despair. Our clubs are located in some of the most violent and war-torn or disaster areas to help children overcome these conflicts in life through cooperative play which creates laughter, compassion and peace. Where Play for Peace exists, peace grows. From gang violence to refugee camps, children and youth need a safe place to play without fear or discrimination. Play for Peace provides this space and helps children overcome obstacles through peaceful methods. The funds we raise help support our existing clubs and the demand for new clubs throughout the USA and around the world!.

Silent Auction opens at 4 pm and closes at 7:15 pm (unless officially extended).

Winners will be announced at 7:30 pm.
