21st Annual Online Silent Auction
The Friends of Fredricksen holds an annual silent auction to help fund the library's needs and wants. More than 150 local businesses donate gifts and services which are auctioned off in November of each year. Funds from this auction and our two book sales are used to: fund children's, teens, and adult programming, community programs, library equipment such as a new projector, and support funding of the new lower level entrance and reading plaza, staff and volunteer appreciation, and prizes for the new patron campaign each year. Funds we raise are requested by department heads to supplement funds in the operating budget and keep our doors open. Items include a complete orthodontic package valued at $6,400 to $3 and $5 fast food coupons and everything in between like art, jewelry, services like dry cleaning, car washes, food store cards, restaurant cards, sporting events, fun entertainment & experiences, and gift certificates to the West Shore Farmers Market.
Rules & Guidelines:
1. This auction has “EXTENDED BIDDING”, meaning if an item receives a bid during the final 3 minutes of the auction, the item end time will be extended to allow for 3 additional minutes of bidding. This process repeats until no new bids are received during the final 3 minutes of the item bidding window or the auction has been extended for a maximum of 30 minutes beyond the original end time.
2. If you have any issues with bidding, or if you place an accidental bid, please send an email to lmckissick@ccpa.net within 24 hours.
3. In order to bid on 32auctions, patrons must create an account.

About Friends of Fredricksen Library
Friends of Cleve J. Fredricksen Library is a support group for the Library's Development Department sponsoring three fundraising events each year with all profits going to the library to support needs not funded by the operating budget. We are a non-profit 501C3 entity. We raise funds, volunteer at the library, and advocate for library funding at the local and state levels.
