About Our Auction

Hooray, hooray for the 1st of May!

Welcome to First Parish in Framingham's 63rd Annual Talent & Treasure fundraising event! Together we are working to raise awareness of our faith community and the work we do in and around the Metrowest area.

Our goal this year is to raise a total of $18,000...

$10,000 for our operating budget which directly impacts our ability to maintain our buildings, support staff and continue to engage in many outreach activities.

*AND*

$8000 Raise Your Paddle for First Parish to be used for the purchase of video streaming equipment so we can share our message with everyone where ever you are in the world!

A NOTE about COVID-19:
• We are doing our best to ensure donations of tickets, gift cards and services will be honored once stay-at-home orders are lifted; however, things are still fluid, so it is recommended you contact the donor prior to use.
• Additionally, those offering opportunities like Dine & Unwind, vacations, etc. are prepared to adjust dates or approach to the offering as needed to ensure the safety of winning bidders.

Thank you in advance for your contributions!

About PAY IT FORWARD

Each year we chose a project as a "donation only item" for our auction. This year it is Framingham State University students who are not able to go home and spend the summer on campus.

Many students at Framingham State University are food insecure, 1st generation in their family attending college, with limited financial support. There is a group of 15-20 students, financially challenged, who are supported in campus housing year-round by grant funding. During school and summer breaks, these students have limited options for food, as the cafeteria services are closed.

FSU maintains a food pantry and gets food donations which are regularly accessed by many students, but there is a lack of fresh fruits and vegetables.

FPF is committed to provide fresh produce- fruits and vegetables- for these students during the summer months, between mid-May and Labor Day, 16 weeks.

Why do we want to do this? These college students are our neighbors. Supporting them supports our values and these students.

We expect the cost to be approximately $100-125/week to provide the needed produce. Our goal is to raise $1800 through the Pay It Forward Auction item.
