Please help support Oakland's public school libraries by bidding on exciting restaurant certificates, wines, "made-in-Oakland" items, and experiences. Every dollar spent will help us build a digital library of ebooks for OUSD so every OUSD student will have access to digital books, anytime, anywhere.

Friends of the Oakland Public School Libraries (FOPSL) is dedicated to ensuring that every Oakland public school student has access to quality school library services. Since 2012, FOPSL has provided more than $240,000 in funding for books to OUSD Libraries, donated more than 25,000 hours of volunteer support, and helped reopen 24 libraries. FOPSL is currently partnering with Oakland Unified School District to reopen two libraries and continue building the OUSD Digital Library (Sora), accessible to every OUSD student 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
