Golden Together
On Friday, September 27, 2024, Friends of Briar Bush will host Father Our Nest 2024, Golden Together, a celebration of the organization's 50th anniversary. Guests will reminisce about our past and dream about the wonder the next 50 years will bring.
The Feather Our Nest Online Auction precedes the live event and offers participants the opportunity to win a variety of items donated and gathered from businesses and artisans within our community and beyond!
All funds raised from the FON auction directly support the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Friends of Briar Bush, and our mission to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate nature.

About Briar Bush Nature Center
Since 1974, the Friends of Briar Bush has inspired people to celebrate nature by welcoming everyone into our museum, bird observatory, pond, and trails.
Briar Bush has been able to grow and shine with support from the community and friends like you.
• Historically, Briar Bush’s Public Programs have been popular. As word has spread throughout the years, participation has increased from less than 800 in 2004 to over 2,600 participants in 2023.
• This year, our Scholarship Fund distributed $10,000 in financial assistance to groups and families, a huge jump from the few hundred that we were able to give just five short years ago.
• By the end of 2024, an exciting ADA and habitat renovation project will be completed leaving our small woodland sanctuary more accessible than ever to everyone in our community.
With your help, we can continue to spread our roots and remain Golden Together for 50 more!
