Celebration Concert Silent Auctions 2019

This item is going to be auctioned for fundraising purposes, along with our usual raffle over the 2 nights of the Celebration Concerts.

Payment will be made directly to the school.

The Instrumental Music Program is a dynamic aspect of the school curriculum at Eltham High School. It is not just an added extra, but is an integral part of a student’s total development at Eltham High. The program provides outstanding instruction and teaching on a wide variety of instruments, as well as challenging opportunities for skill development in an extensive ensemble program. The program is recognised as one of the finest in Australia. With this reputation already established, we are continually working hard to improve on the excellent program offered.
The Instrumental Music Program is self-funded from the fees paid by parents with children enrolled in the program. With continual costs of this program, that are not all met by fee payments, Eltham High School has to continually source funding and support through other means to offer the music program. There are three full time music faculty staff and 17 music tutors contracted by the Eltham High School on behalf of children enrolled in the music program. The Friends of Music support group also contributes with various fundraising efforts throughout the year, to purchase instruments for the program and any other funds required for touring the bands throughout the year.
Our vision for the Music Program is to promote a life-long love for music and the creative process. At Eltham High School we believe in educating the whole child by providing an education in Music. We seek to inspire in young people a passion for the creative process that will last a lifetime.
