Free Korean Dogs Winter Auction

The majority of our auction items were handmade and created with love specifically for our event! All proceeds from our auction will go towards supporting the medical, food, and housing needs of our dogs rescued from the dog meat trade.

Free Korean Dogs is a registered non-profit charity organization based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the South Korean dog meat trade and other at risk circumstances, and find their forever homes in select Canadian and US cities. We also focus on awareness and education on a variety of topics with the goal of promoting responsible pet ownership through informed decisions.

To date, we have stepped in to self initiated the negotiations of the rescue of over 300 dogs (and counting) from the meat trade whose fate would have otherwise ended in tragedy, which have included the closure of 3 dog meat farms, 1 dog meat restaurant, and dozens of dog meat brokers. Since our inception, we have successfully found forever homes for over 1000 dogs with families in Canada and the US for dogs who would have otherwise faced euthanasia, abandonment, or risks of being sold to the dog meat trade.

Additionally, we make a conscious effort whenever possible to support the local community in any way we can, including providing extra pet supplies to low-income pet owners and sharing our resources with fellow animal rescue organizations. We strive to always give what we can and support local community organizations and small businesses where possible.
