Firestone Swimming & Diving Silent Auction

Our annual reverse/raffle and sit down dinner auction organized by FHAA has gone virtual with an online auction for the 2nd year in a row. We have added the reverse raffle component, where you were able to buy a ticket for $50. There is still time to buy tickets, contact jennifer@sevald.net if interested. The Reverse Raffle draw will be posted live online, look for an upcoming link . The last 5 remaining ticket holders will be contacted to see if you would like to split the $2000 or have one winner.

We are collecting funds to continue the traditions of the team. The auction is a major fundraiser for the swimming & diving programs at Firestone, which is home to the only Akron Public Schools swim team.

Every swimmer is outfitted with team gear regardless of their level. New swim equipment for the pool is always being purchased for the betterment of the swimmers and maintenance of the pool.

The proceeds are used to purchase team equipment, defray costs of transportation and entry fees at the meets, and pay expenses incurred for district and state competition. Financing for sports at the public school level is primarily supported by private donations and fundraising activities.
