Farm to Plate Gathering Silent Auction

In the spirit of adding an element of fun to our virtual gathering this year and in lieu of another year without an in-person cheese table, we received some generous donations from our Farm to Plate sponsors to create this silent auction.

Proceeds for the silent auction will go to Abenaki Helping Abenaki Inc., a 501(c)3 Non-Profit created by the Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk Abenaki, whose programs include the Nulhegan Food Security Programs, Abenaki Land Link Project, and Abenaki Bison Project. Prior to COVID-19, they promoted food distribution through food pantries and seed harvesting. During the pandemic, Abenaki Helping Abenaki has expanded its support by offering gift cards to Abenaki band members and sustaining the Garden Food Crop program with food processing equipment. The Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund (VSJF) is a a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides business assistance, value chain facilitation, network development, and strategic planning in agriculture and food systems, forest products, waste management, renewable energy, and environmental technology. We are committed to developing creative approaches and innovative models to grow Vermont’s economy.

VSJF serves as the administrator and backbone organization to the Farm to Plate Network and executes the analysis and goal tracking of the Farm to Plate Strategic Plan implementation. More than 350 members of the Farm to Plate Network are working together to create a viable, sustainable, and resilient food system which produces and distributes our food and generates positive economic, environmental, and social impact in Vermont’s economy.
