About Our Auction
Use your festive purchasing power to support people facing food insecurity by bidding in Edmonton's Food Bank Festive Virtual Auction.
How it works:
- Starting November 26, look through the listings and find items or experiences that interest you.
- Create a 32 Auctions account to bid (make an offer.)
- Make a monetary offer for the items you are interested in.
- Check back later to see if anyone has out bid you. Others may offer more for that item!
- If you want make another bid to counter the offers made by others, increasing in amounts until you reach the maximum you want to bid.
- The Auction closes at 12:00 pm on Friday, December 4 when bidding ends and the person who bids the highest will be able to purchase the item.
- 32 Auctions will notify you if you are the winning bidder and Edmonton's Food Bank will contact you as well.
About Edmonton Food Bank
Edmonton's Food Bank envisions a community where hunger does not exist, where all citizens have access to adequate and nutritious supply of food. Our mission is "to be stewards in the collection of surplus and donated food for the effective distribution, free of charge, to people in need in our community while seeking solutions to the causes of hunger."
Each month, over 40,000 people receive food hampers from Edmonton’s Food Bank. The Edmonton Food Bank also distributes food for about 500,000 meals and snacks each month through more than 380 agencies, churches, schools and food depots. Approximately 40 percent of our clients are children under 18.
