About The Don Greer Heritage Club Memorial Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in The Don Greer Heritage Club Memorial Scholarship fund.

Don Greer passed away suddenly and unexpectantly on June 14th, 2011, at the young age of 48. Since this scholarship inception, the participation and loyal dedication of friends, club members, and family has allowed the foundation to fund scholarships for Heritage Club employees, their dependents, and caddies who meet specific employment criteria. The Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation manages this fund.

Since 2012, the foundation has awarded fifty-three scholarships totaling over $260,000. In the past, our primary fundraiser has been a golf outing and evening dinner & reception. Due to COVID, we are unable to host the traditional dinner reception safely. This year, following golf, we will host a socially distant cocktail hour outdoors. You will enjoy two drink tickets and a personal platter of hors d’oeuvres.

About Our Auction

The Don Greer Heritage Club Memorial Scholarship Fund is rolling out our first virtual auction! We so wish we could conduct this event as we have in years past, yet, for the safety of our staff, our members, and our friends, we had to scale everything back with fewer golfers and no evening reception. We appreciate your flexibility and your grace in participating, even if virtually.

*****All items will have the ability to be billed as member charge or you can pay the club directly with check or credit card or you can pay via PayPal using your credit card on this site. If you choose to use the credit card option on this site, please understand the scholarship will receive about 95% of amount due to fees from 32auctions and PayPal*****

Our online auction allows you to support the scholarship fund by bidding on a variety of items as well as donating to the Fund a Scholar program.
As you will notice, we do not have a large silent auction; this was intentional. For the past nine years, we have been extremely fortunate to receive generous donations from local small businesses and individuals. Recognizing these challenging times, we instead want to recognize those small businesses that have stood beside us. Please take time to thank them, and if you are able, continue to support them.

Local Silent Auction contributors in the past have included : Haven Grey, It's in the Details, Mim's off Main, Top Golf, Redline Sports, The Paper Girl, Woodhouse Spa, Clyborne's, Oberer's Flowers, Going to Pot Flowers, Le Macaron, and Loveland Sweets.

We thank the Heritage Club employees for their unwavering time and efforts in making this event incredible to so many. We may add items to this site; please check back! Enjoy the day!
